About The Position

Join our growing team in Fort Worth! AGC Heat Transfer is opening a brand-new service center in Pleasant Prairie, WI, and we’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Assembly Associate Lead to help drive our success and who understands the importance of quality, safety and teamwork while delivering efficient and excellent results. AGC Heat Transfer, Inc., is the leading OEM of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North America, manufacturing plate heat exchangers specifically designed for sanitary applications. AGC offers complete heat exchangers, services as well as upgrades to plate packs, gaskets and spares that fit multiple brands. In addition, AGC offers Field Leak Testing and inspections of plate heat exchangers that meet the 3-A sanitary standard. AGC Heat Transfer consists of four manufacturing/service facilities (Bristow, VA, Fairview, OR, Fort Worth, TX & Pleasant Prairie, WI) with about 120 employees (70 OR / 20 VA / 30 other locations). Currently, most of the sales are in the US & Canada. AGC Heat Transfer has a strong engineering culture with a heavy emphasis on customer service and technical/consultative sales. The Assembly Associate Lead will perform a wide range of tasks in the service and maintenance of heat exchanger plates Wisconsin service center. In this dynamic role, you’ll lead by example—handling materials, inspecting and assembling parts, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving operations. You’ll also step up to lead the team when the Shop Manager is away, making your leadership and teamwork skills essential. We’re looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in a production or warehouse setting who’s mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and ready to take on a variety of tasks. Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in production or warehouse / material handling environment preferred.
  • Previous experience with overhead crane, forklift, power pallet jack and hoists preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Technical/Trade school preferred.
  • Teamwork focused with strong communication skills.
  • Dependable and able to think independently.
  • Detail oriented (counting and recording, reading drawings, following procedures)
  • Mechanically Inclined (small tools, wood working, basic maintenance)
  • Flexible and willing to work on a wide range of tasks.
  • Good computer skills; Familiar with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Wear all appropriate PPE.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Ability to follow safety rules and the 5s principles of a work environment.
  • Ability to do repetitive work including walking and lifting for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (typically 8–10 hours per shift)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching
  • Ability to climb steps or platforms as required by the production area
  • Manual dexterity to handle small components, tools, and controls
  • Ability to maintain focus and physical stamina throughout the work shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Technical/Trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Material handling (using overhead cranes, hoists, forklift, pallet jack and electric pallet jack)
  • Operate power washer to clean plates and equipment
  • Use chemical dip tanks to clean plates
  • Perform visual quality inspections of customer’s plates
  • Apply rubber gaskets to customers’ plates
  • Accurately count and record parts and equipment
  • Prepare plate packs and orders for shipping
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties via various carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL)
  • Participate in inventory tasks such as cycle counting, verifications, and restocking
  • Lead team in absence of Shop Manager
  • Safely use small tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
  • Actively participate in continuous safety and production improvement efforts.
  • Some travel for onsite service or training as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
