As an Assembler in our Reset Center, you will help bring equipment back to life by rebuilding, repairing, and preparing machines for their next job. You will follow clear instructions from team leaders to install parts, wiring, hoses, and components using a variety of tools. Each day may look a little different depending on the unit, but the goal is the same delivering quality work, staying safe, and supporting the team to keep production moving. Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry.
  • Knowledge of using a iPad
  • Reading wiring diagrams
  • Good organization skills

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto JLG products utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques.
  • Install various JLG product accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights, etc.).
  • Operate an overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Use hand and pneumatic tools accurately such as wrenches, hammers, torque guns, etc.
  • Use common measuring tools accurately such as a tape measure.
  • Drill and/or tap holes for wires, hoses and small parts.
  • Sanding of parts and machines
  • Determine options needed for units based on schematics/blueprints/Standard Work Instructions.
  • Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 35 lbs. and team lift up to 60lbs.
  • Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands.
  • Follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards.
