The Assembler follows defined processes and procedures to build parts and assemblies.

Requirements

Standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
Use of hand tools and power tools for assembly and packaging.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Perform required measurements and basic calculations.
Lay out work according to proper operational sequence.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform part and assembly builds by following established processes, procedures, and work instructions.
Read and interpret assembly drawings, charts, specifications, tables, and related documentation.
Pick materials from designated storage locations and stage them for assembly operations.
Position and align parts manually or using hoists and approved material‑handling equipment.
Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other required equipment.
Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance and requesting repairs or replacement parts as needed.
Document production activities by completing required forms and quality‑control records.
Inspect parts to ensure quality, safety, and conformance to specified dimensions and visual standards.
Identify and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, or unusual conditions.
Prepare orders for shipment by packing, labeling, and staging materials for transport.
Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
