About The Position

This position is responsible for assembling small electronic automotive parts using highly automated equipment in a unionized team environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Previous industrial work experience preferably in an assembly position using computerized equipment
  • Ability to learn all production tasks within assigned department and rotate as directed
  • Familiarity with blueprints and FIFO (first in first out)
  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures, quality procedures, and environmental health and safety procedures

Responsibilities

  • Set-up jobs with part/packing material and operate highly automated assembly equipment.
  • Perform manual assembly operations such as hand soldering, applying components, de-paneling circuit boards, date coding and other identification.
  • Inspect product using blueprints as reference.
  • Box assemblies and palletize.
  • Record production statistics in database.
  • Other job activities as assigned.
