Role Overview As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in creating a safer world through the manufacturing of entrance control solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with mechanical assembly is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot as required
  • Comfortable using power tools such as circular saws, mitre saws, drills, screwdrivers
  • Ability to effectively use metalworking tools such as taps and extraction tools..
  • Understand hardware sizing for both standard and metric items
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency and dexterity with manual and power tools
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Demonstrated flexibility and capability to collaborate within multicultural teams

Responsibilities

  • Electromechanical assembly and pre-assembly of small and medium-sized components in compliance with safety regulations, assembly procedures and estimated timescales.
  • Wiring and connection of electrical and electronic components
  • Testing of the semi-finished and finished product, in compliance with the quality and packaging specifications.
  • Aesthetic control of the components before and after assembly
  • Minor soldering could be required
  • Maintenance of workstations and assembly stations
  • Building circuit boards
  • Installing software programs
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software programs when failures occur
  • Building wooden crates (designing, cutting and assembling) to protect product during shipping
