About The Position

An entry-level position in a production environment with some prior experience required. Responsibilities will include but not limited to assembling control devices (ie. Dampers-HD’s, RHD’s industrials, micro’s- blast gates of all sizes, custom devices, etc… ) to meet the specification. Some previous knowledge of FTI’s control device offerings is helpful but not required.

Some previous knowledge of FTI’s control device offerings is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Quality control of the components to assure parts are free of any imperfections; meet specification
Material gathering
Follows instructions, diagrams; blue prints to complete the task.
Use a combination of any number of tools, including punches, hammers, wrenches, cutters, clamps, calipers, pliers or welding equipment and other electric hand tools.
Keep work area clean and organized- 5’s.
Comply with health, safety (including OSHA), and environment procedures.
Comply with Work Safe Work Secure Manual and understand Employee Company Policy Manual.
Communicate with Lead Person/Supervisor about any discrepancies.
Continue to learn and expand one’s own capacity with this job by increasing knowledge and skill base.
Perform other various assignments per Lead Person or Supervisor instruction
