Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably with small parts or electronics.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination for delicate assembly tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with soldering techniques and equipment (e.g., fine pitch soldering) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform delicate and precise assembly of small optical, electronic, and mechanical components using hand tools, fixtures, and microscopes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and basic testing of assembled units to identify and correct defects.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including logging completed assemblies and identifying any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
