Job Summary & Responsibilities We are seeking an Assembly Technician to support manufacturing and development of measurement equipment for the Semiconductor industry. The position of Assembly Technician is based at Semilab SDI, Tampa, FL. The Assembly Technician will report to the Engineering Manager, who oversees specific tasks and work schedule. Qualifications Candidates must have ~ 5 years background experience in mechanical and electromechanical assembly and manufacturing. The position requires excellent communication skills in verbal and written English. It requires a highly self-motivated individual willing to take initiative in both solo and teamwork environments. The candidate should have the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment, as well as possess strong problem-solving abilities. Additional Qualifications and Areas of Responsibilities shall include: Candidates must have extensive experience in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly. Including excellent soldering abilities on PCB’s (both through hole and surface mount) and wiring harness assemblies involving many types of specialized connectors and terminations. Candidates must have extensive experience setting up and assembling large scale industrial equipment or auto mechanic experience. Ability to read technical drawings, electrical and mechanical. Including following Assembly procedures and SOP’s. Experience and utilizing MRP software Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word. A working knowledge of networking and IP addresses for electrical component setup. Compensation & Growth • Base Salary Range: $38,400.00 - $57,600.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
