About The Position

The primary function of the Assembler, is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. Pack and prepare product for shipping. In this function you will: A. Build/Wire Main Breaker Units B. Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure, build/wire doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship. C. Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications. D. Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained. E. Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics. F. Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand G. Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to escalate production issues immediately H. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.

Requirements

  • No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 - miles of the Arden, NC facility
  • Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
  • Proven history of safe work habits
  • Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
  • Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
