Requirements
- Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), power tools, and measuring equipment
- Read, learn and follow training, adhere precisely to written procedures
- Problem solving skills
- Must be able to follow detailed instruction, inspection procedures and product appearance
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and/or specifications
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Some lifting (not to exceed 50 lbs.) is required.
- Some daily computer work is required.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
- Must be able to read prints and process sheets
- Perform first piece inspection as well as in process quality checks accompanied by the required paperwork
- Properly identify parts and operate all equipment used in the assembly process and be able to identify and properly tag rejected parts
- Understand and follow all ISO procedures
- Assist with the training of new employees, and follow all company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability
- Ability to consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirement
- Perform inspection process and complete all related production paperwork
- Ability to set up equipment or machines and perform simple adjustments and minor set up of some dies
