About The Position

We are seeking motivated and reliable temporary Summer Hires to support our team during the busy summer season. This is a great opportunity for students or early-career individuals looking to gain hands-on professional experience, learn new skills, and contribute to meaningful work in a fast-paced environment. This position is available May 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026. We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
  • Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment that requires the ability to lift, carry and pull and push moderate to heavy equipment, tools and parts
  • Must be able to read and write in English and conduct basic math
  • The ability to work overtime including weekends
  • Willingness and ability to work any shift
  • An attached resume
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application
  • Final candidate must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Final candidate may be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy Truck Assembly knowledge
  • Auto Mechanical, auto electrical/wiring, or auto paint experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
  • Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
  • Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks
  • Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
  • Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly of heavy-duty trucks
