About The Position

The Wire Harness Technician plays a vital role in the assembly and installation of wiring systems that are essential for the functionality of various electronic products. This position is crucial for ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical connections in numerous applications, including automotive, aerospace, and industrial equipment A Wire Harness Technician supports the team by providing high-quality workmanship, attention to detail, and efficient processes, contributing significantly to the overall success of our production goals. Requirements

  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Knowledge Electrical Theory: Understanding basic electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, and circuit design.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics related to wire harness designs and layouts.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in wiring setups and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting Skills
  • Time Management: Skills in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet production deadlines.
  • Manual Dexterity: Ability to perform intricate assembly tasks that require fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Team Collaboration: Capacity to work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other team members to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methods in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and participate in team discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wire harnesses according to detailed specifications and blueprints, ensuring that all components are correctly installed and secured.
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards and prevent defects.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to communicate any issues, provide feedback on processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance productivity.
  • Work closely with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement efficient production techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide timely feedback and insights to address any challenges faced during production and recommend solutions.
