About The Position

Heads Up Technologies and STG, Inc. are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler (STG Inc.) to join our Manufacturing team. The Assembler will play a critical role in the assembly of high-quality lighting products. This role reports to the STG-Texas Operations Manager. If you have a passion for precision and a dedication to creating top-notch lighting solutions, this is the opportunity for you! Key Details Work Days and Hours: Our normal working hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday with an unpaid 30-minute lunch. Employees can work with their supervisor to have some flexibility in their schedule. Location: This is a full-time onsite position located in Addison, TX. Compensation: Based on qualifications and comprehensive benefits package. Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is under Heads Up Technologies but will be working in the STG Inc. business unit and will therefore be an employee of STG Inc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.

Nice To Haves

  • Some soldering experience is preferred.
  • Technical or vocational training in electronics or soldering techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise soldering of electronic components, including LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and other related components onto PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) to assemble LED lighting products.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, technical drawings, and diagrams to ensure accurate placement of components.
  • Inspect and test soldered connections to verify the quality and integrity of each connection, making necessary adjustments or corrections as needed.
  • Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
  • Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues that may arise during the production process.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any relevant production data.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your co-workers.
