Assembler - Sheet Metal
About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join a sheet metal manufacturing team. This role involves assembling metal components and finished products using hand and power tools while following blueprints and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Assemblers in this role help build a variety of metal products commonly used in commercial and industrial environments, such as roof hatches, access doors, floor doors, equipment enclosures, and other specialty sheet metal assemblies . Pay: $17.64 + $900 sign on bonus
Requirements
- Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Assemble sheet metal components and finished products according to blueprints and work instructions
- Use various hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, rivet guns, grinders, and measuring tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
- Measure, align, and fit components to ensure proper assembly
- Install hardware, hinges, fasteners, and other components as required
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
