About The Position

The Assembler Lead performs repetitive assembly operations, trains and provides work direction to the assembly team to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and assigns work tasks among assembly team in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related production goals.Performs job tracking and reporting, overseeing the efficiency and output of assembler team.Trains new assembler employees in the tasks required for component assembly work, including actual assembly techniques, use of tools and machinery, and safety guidelines and procedures.Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.Places parts in specified relationship to each other.Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.Removes defective products as needed.Tends machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.Works at different workstations as production needs require.Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of component assembly experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior carpentry or manufacturing experience.
