About The Position

Accurately assemble quality products according to engineer’s print’s directions and shop order’s requests. Follows policies and procedures put in place as well as any modifications while always being aware to preserving the product’s integrity and quality.

Requirements

• Must be safety minded
• Requires attention to detail and a high standard of quality
• Must comply to ISO 9000 required policies
• Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment
• Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills
• Willingness and ability to learn and perform other jobs
• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Assemble according to print directions
• Have safe work habits and to follow safety procedures
• Find, print and understand shop orders, customer orders and engineers drawings
• Be conscientious of following procedures
• Have good record keeping skills and able to keep an accurate count on product
• Mentor and train other employees
• Read and use measuring tools accurately
• Use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it
• Complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis
• Work as a team and be self motivated to work independently
• Actively be looking for new and improved ways to do things
• Meet reasonable production goals
• Work with customers to solve problems
• Trouble-shoot hydraulic and electrical problems on Demco products
