About The Position

The Assembler III is responsible for building the most complex aerospace assemblies and supporting day-to-day leadership within the assembly area. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to troubleshoot advanced issues, and the capability to guide others while maintaining strict compliance with aerospace standards.

Requirements

5+ years of mechanical assembly experience, ideally in aerospace or regulated manufacturing
Strong blueprint reading, mechanism assembly, and precision build capability
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex assembly challenges
Comfortable taking ownership of critical builds and supporting team execution
Familiarity with AS9100 workmanship, documentation, and compliance expectations
Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership mindset

Responsibilities

Assemble advanced aerospace mechanisms, precision assemblies, and high-complexity builds
Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting, fit-up challenges, and process questions
Lead assembly execution on critical jobs, including coordination of work steps and priorities
Interpret complex drawings, specifications, and build documentation independently
Perform functional testing, verification steps, and detailed quality checks as required
Support training, mentoring, and daily guidance of Assembler I and II team members
Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production leadership to resolve build issues and drive corrective actions
Ensure all documentation, traceability, and workmanship standards are met consistently
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, efficiency, and standard work
