An Assembler III at Medtronic is a skilled production team member responsible for assembling complex medical devices, components, or products, often following detailed blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. They perform advanced tasks such as troubleshooting assembly issues, conducting quality inspections, and making minor repairs or adjustments to ensure products meet rigorous standards. Additionally, Assembler III may help train new employees, support process improvements, and maintain accurate production documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. Location: 2343 W Medtronic Way, Tempe, AZ 85281 Shift: “A” Sunday – Tuesday and Every Other Wednesday 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: May be responsible for recommending making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of own job area. Seasoned individual contributor who provides assistance and training to lower level employees Acts as a backup facilitator and team leader in manufacturing/production operations. Understands and facilitates instructions to team members to complete a daily/weekly schedule. Expected to independently propose solutions to problems for supervisor review Obtains and provides information on matters of moderate importance to the job area Participate and/or lead Safety and Quality walks. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$45,200.00 - $67,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $20.90 per hour. The base rate is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). Requirements
