About The Position

Duties & Responsibilities Develop leadership/expanding expertise across 1-2 areas of production of DME in a team manufacturing environment (Eg mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronics, software testing, etc) Regularly communicate with management on areas of improvement Set an example for best practices. Read and understand work instructions / assembly instructions. Interface with ERP system to log assembly transactions. Position of align components and parts either manually, with hoists, fixture, or other assembly aid. Use hand tools, power tools or chains to assemble parts. Ability to conduct quality control checks. Clean and maintain work area, tools, and fixtures. Work with inventory control personnel, QA, Leads and Supervisors as needed. Troubleshoot quality issues. Identify root causes of issues. Demonstrate understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Participate and apply training as required. Follow processes and procedures as directed. Set Professional example for others. Proactively identifying safety issues/recommend actions to safety committee. QualificationsWork Experience Requirements Assembly experience. Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools. Experience in MS Office suite of systems ERP Experience (Odoo is preferred) Skills & Abilities Organization skills Ability to follow Engineering drawings/work instructions and update as required. Ability to work independently or as a member of the team. Ability to work while standing for several hours. Ability to assist and move items or material up to 70 lbs (one piece) with aid. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 lbs. with or without assistance. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, bend, and lift. Must be able to work a full shift standing if required. Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to machinery, noise, and various manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Assembly experience
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Experience in MS Office suite of systems
ERP Experience (Odoo is preferred)
Organization skills
Ability to follow Engineering drawings/work instructions and update as required
Ability to work independently or as a member of the team
Ability to work while standing for several hours
