Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to be responsible for assembling parts and components according to our manufacturing operating procedures. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent attention to detail with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing/assembly setting. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Long Beach, CA and requires on-site presence five days a week.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English as well as verbal instructions to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Must have a strong work ethic, able to take directions, and willing to ask questions when clarity is needed
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods
  • Ability to plan, track & complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs with assistance

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year production leadership experience
  • Experience with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Responsibilities

  • Use hand and/or power tools (such as wire stripper, crimper, drills, soldering station) to assemble and/or package a complete product from scratch or sub-assemblies
  • Acknowledge and communicate product rejects/non-conforming items to Leads to resolve
  • Receive and maintain certified trained status for updated revisions in all relevant Production Lines and their individual stations
  • Document production activities accurately and promptly
  • Report any issues or defects to the supervisor immediately
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs
  • Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional activities as needed
  • Work schedule may include shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands
  • Assist in cross-training of production employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
