About The Position
We are seeking a Homework Coach / Tutor for a 10th-grade student in Long Beach. The student is bright and curious but struggles with organization, time management, and completing/turning in assignments. There are currently many missing assignments, and homework has become a consistent challenge. The student shows signs of ADHD / ADD, though not formally diagnosed. This role focuses on executive function support rather than teaching a single subject. The goal is to help the student catch up on missing work, stay organized, meet deadlines, and build sustainable study and planning skills.
Requirements
- Experience working with high school students
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort supporting students with ADHD-related challenges
- Bachelor's Degree
Nice To Haves
- Tutoring or teaching experience preferred
