See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As part of the talented Stuart Operations team, you will assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements. Assembly of components including plastic parts, ball screws, gears, and motors, including final assembly Operate manual machines Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process Align material and put together parts to build more complex units Check output to ensure highest quality Maintain equipment in good condition Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts Maintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols, regulations and procedures Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms. Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process. Test finished products for defects. All other duties as assigned Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Minimal related experience preferred as an assembler or similar role in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability in using tools and machines
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
  • Works well in a fast-paced team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience as an assembler preferred
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read assembly instructions and follow standard operation procedures
