About The Position

Assembles electromechanical devices, such as solenoids, basic wound coils and electromagnets as laid out in drawings, routers, and work instructions Essential Functions Uses fixtures, machines, presses, and tools to assemble parts according to prints and router including, electronic components, and wound coils. Cutting and routing wires to connect electrical units using hand tools. Test wire assemblies using, ohmmeter, or resistance tester to evaluate connections for resistance, shorts, and grounds. Stakes units, adjusts springs, and shafts to meet specifications. Performs other related duties and special projects as required and assigned by the Department Manager. This position requires a person who is highly attentive to detail and has good hand-eye coordination. A High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of work experience within a manufacturing setting servicing electronics component, industrial, and/or aerospace markets.
