We have a manufacturing facility in Wheeling, IL. SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler Level I to join our team. This position is 1st shift, Monday-Friday onsite. This role involves both subassembly and assembly operations, including the construction of pumps, canisters, service builds, and machine builds. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly operations, with a preference for those who have worked in subassembly operations such as pumps and canisters. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in subassembly operations, preferably pumps and canisters.
  • Proficiency in using power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Medium proficiency in using computer systems to transact orders in the ERP system.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to be cross trained across all parts of the factory.
  • Ability to build machines or similar structures, lifting metal and other components up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform consistent tasks requiring repeated hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and work with tools.
  • Ability to work continuously in a standing position for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Use of PPE such as safety glasses, shoes, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform subassembly operations, including the construction of pumps, canisters, and service builds.
  • Conduct assembly operations, focusing on machine builds.
  • Use power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret drawings to ensure precise assembly.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Utilize computer systems to transact orders in the ERP system.
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Work effectively with team members to meet production targets.
  • Follow all company and compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Identify and report safety or equipment concerns.
  • Perform any other assigned jobs as needed.
