About The Position

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured components and finished products according to manufacturing orders, blueprints, and quality standards. This role supports the production process by safely and efficiently assembling parts using hand, power, and air tools while maintaining organization, accuracy, and a clean work environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in fast-paced, hands-on work environments (warehouse, construction, maintenance, or similar) a plus.
  • Ability to learn assembly processes, tools, and quality requirements through on-the-job training.
  • Willingness to follow detailed instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and finished products using hand, power, and air tools.
  • Follow Manufacturing Orders (MOs), blueprints, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Verify correct parts, hardware, and materials prior to and during assembly.
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  • Handle materials efficiently and safely to prevent damage or injury.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure assembled products meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification if required.
  • Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
