About The Position

At Pall Corporation, an operating company of Danaher, the work focuses on high-tech filtration, separation, and purification to advance health, safety, and environmentally responsible technologies. The company is committed to continuous improvement through the Danaher Business System. The Assembler I (Elements) position is responsible for building assemblies and subassemblies, including specialty assemblies, within the Pall Aerospace Elements Department. This role is located onsite in New Port Richey, FL, and operates on a second shift schedule from Monday through Thursday, 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM, with routine overtime. The position requires access to export-controlled commodities, necessitating U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
Basic understanding of the use of calipers to make precision measurements, and basic shop math.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to work overtime as assigned.
Ability to bend, lift, stand, sit, and twist for long periods of time and required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in: Working in a manufacturing facility on a production line.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and equipment within a continuous production/processing operation.
Measure, build and assemble components per standard operating procedures from schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets using basic measuring equipment (i.e., calipers, scale, thermometers, high gauge, etc.).
Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, Slitter Sheets, etc.
Work with and mix chemicals, oils, and solvents as stated within the standard operating procedures and process parts in an explosion proof room.
Move (Float) within the Elements and Cabin Air Lines.
