About The Position

Assembly and Finishing of Proseal Products Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings and models Review Bills of materials, gather parts, tools, and kit items for current jobs and alert the Tooling Supervisor to any missing items. Operate pedestal drills, pneumatic tapping arms, and deburring tools to prepare tooling and machine components for assembly Assemble Proseal products to specification by following standard build procedures with the use of hand and power tools. This will include all tooling autonomously working on tooling up to Auto Gas and Twin-lane complexity Assist in the use of forming equipment to produce components for tooling and spares orders. This will include but is not limited to operating CNC bending equipment, welding equipment, and cleaning and etching machinery Performance and Quality Testing Complete PDI check sheets and document the build process to Proseal standard. Performance testing and quality checking of assembled Proseal tooling using available Proseal machines Troubleshoot issues or errors of assembled Proseal tooling during the testing phase. Report any quality control issues to your Supervisor Safety & Training Ensure that company health and safety procedures are being adhered to daily. This must include reporting any health and safety concerns, near misses and anything relevant to the department. Complete all Proseal assigned health and safety training courses. Assist the Level II Technicians and above in the finishing and assembly of cartridge tooling.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of and ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Able to kneel, bend, crouch and climb ladders to access various parts of a machine
  • Able to lift-up to 60Ibs

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or Vocational School graduation with a manufacturing focus is preferred
  • Mechanical, Electrical, or otherwise technical training or related experience preferred
  • Work experience in related studies may be substituted
  • Formal Technical training in a related field or graduation from a technical / vocational high school preferred
  • Experience drafting or reading mechanical drawings
  • Experience with electrical and pneumatic diagrams
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Valid United States driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
  • Forklift training and experience preferred
