About The Position

Our client in Newark, DE is looking to hire a 1st Shift O’ Ring Finisher. This is a temp to hire, entry level position.

Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus and productivity
• Proficiency in using hand tools with a high degree of accuracy and precision
• Strong hand-eye coordination and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to read, write, and interpret work instructions, including numerical specifications and measurements
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed and adapt to different departments or tasks
• Capable of performing physical movements such as bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 lbs

Responsibilities

• Measure and inspect components using precision tools such as calipers, pi tapes, and other specialized equipment
• Maintain accurate counts and documentation of parts throughout the production process
• Operate sanding machinery to refine and finish components to quality standards
• Perform part sizing using mandrels and banding techniques, including work with heated ovens as required
• Receive hands-on training in Roll Flow operations
• Set up and operate equipment by loading media stones and processing parts according to detailed work instructions and specifications
• Collaborate with team members and support overall production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment
