Requirements
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or related field.
- Strong hand strength and dexterity are essential.
- Ability to identify depth, dimension and color by sight.
- Ability to lift/carry/manipulate up to 50lbs.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions for intricate assembly tasks.
- Accepting this position requires candidates to complete and pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform intricate assembly of products by following detailed instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Use significant hand strength and fine motor skills to manipulate, fit and secure components during the assembly process
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
- Follow company procedures and directives.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including assembly logs and quality checks.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively during the assembly process.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Handle/lift heavy cords (up to 50lbs)
- Other duties as assigned
