About The Position

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: o Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. o Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading and interpreting measurements. o Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies securely. o Verifies specifications by measuring completed components to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements. Qualifications & Experience: o Education: o High school diploma or equivalent preferred. o Experience: o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals. o MRP (Material Requirements Planning) experience is a plus. o Skills: o Basic mathematical skills. o Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints. o Strong attention to detail. o Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments. o Personal Attributes: o Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy. o Strong organizational skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Dependable and safety conscious. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: o Stand for extended periods (often 8–12-hour shifts). o Walk between workstations or production areas. o Bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. o Lift and carry materials (commonly 25–50 lbs.) o Push/pull carts or equipment. o Handle small parts with precision. o Strong hand-eye coordination. o Ability to use hand and power tools repeatedly. o Fine motor skills for small or detailed components. o Perform repetitive assembly tasks. o Maintain consistent pace throughout shift.
