Assembler 1 – Latham, NY Build critical MRI magnet components at the final stage of production, ensuring quality, safety, and precision in every unit assembled. Your role: You will assemble MRI magnet components at the end of the production line using hand tools such as drills, wrenches, and fastening equipment. Your work directly supports the completion of high-quality medical imaging systems used in hospitals worldwide. You will install magnets and secure components onto designated pallets according to detailed work instructions and specifications, ensuring alignment with quality and safety standards. You will perform in-process quality checks, monitor output for defects, and communicate any abnormalities promptly to maintain product integrity and compliance. You will operate production equipment safely while following established procedures, 6S practices, and environmental, health, and safety requirements. Forklift operation to support material movement is preferred. You will document daily production activities using basic computer systems, access digital work instructions, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to continuously improve workflow and efficiency. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired experience in a manufacturing or production environment as an individual contributor performing hands-on assembly work. Experience using drills, hand tools, and assembling nuts and bolts is required; forklift experience is preferred. Your skills include mechanical aptitude, ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, basic computer proficiency for production documentation, and strong attention to quality and safety standards. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification) is a plus. You have a High School Diploma, vocational training, or equivalent.
