The role involves operating heavy construction equipment with a strong understanding of hazards, safety precautions, and paving techniques for various projects. The operator will work alongside experienced colleagues who prioritize safety and collaborative goal achievement, with a focus on equipment care and employee success.

Requirements

Experience working on paving projects
Ability to work safely at all times
Approx. 3+ years' experience in the construction industry

Nice To Haves

Experience in paving and heavy construction with knowledge of paving a variety of projects

Responsibilities

Operate heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards, safety precautions, awareness, and of paving for a variety of projects
Get off and on equipment using 3 points of contact
Conduct daily routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to supervisors
Work safely in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet, etc.)
