About The Position

Capital Materials is seeking a skilled, reliable Crushing Plant Operator to join our third-generation family-owned company. This position will require travel to multiple asphalt plant locations around Missouri.

Requirements

• Travel Required
• 5 years’ experience running a crusher
• 2-5 years asphalt plant operator and maintenance experience
• Must be able to work 10-12 hours days, overtime, and occasional Saturdays, when necessary
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Welding certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, and maintain crushing plant in a safe and productive manner
• Recognize and perform maintenance on the crusher, shaker, and conveyors, to meet health and safety regulations
• Replace bearings, gear boxes, motors, screen cloth, conveyor belting, etc.
• Perform daily area safety inspections
• Communicate with all crew members involved with production
• Other duties as assigned
