About The Position
We are seeking a qualified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our school team, supporting communication access for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Candidates must hold a valid interpreter license from the Arkansas Department of Health, meet certification standards (minimum EIPA score of 3.0 or QAST rating of 3/3), and have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in ASL Studies, Interpretation, or a related field. This role requires professionalism, strong interpreting skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
Requirements
- Valid interpreter license from the Arkansas Department of Health

- Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States
- Background check and child maltreatment check required by law
