The Role:
Be part of Leo's sub-team responsible for defining and implementing Application
Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) devices used for communication links between
low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and Amazon customer terminals. This is a unique
opportunity to work on groundbreaking wireless solutions with few legacy
constraints. The team works with customer requirements and wireless system teams
to define modems, high-speed interfaces, embedded processors, and DSP solutions
in latest CMOS generation technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in verification preferably in communication systems
• Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

• Master's or Ph.D degree in Electrical / Communications Engineering.
• Familiarity with formal verification techniques.
• Familiarity with Matlab.
• Experience in developing coverage-driven verification test plans.
• High level of pro-activity, initiative and problem solving.
• Familiarity with constrained random and assertion based verification.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain pre-silicon verification environments, utilizing simulation and emulation platforms.
• Develop detailed verification test plans, testbenches, checks, tests and functional coverage.
• Be proficient in the application of verification languages and methodologies, such as System Verilog and UVM.
• Work with design and communication systems team to ensure our design verification is robust and exhaustive.
• Automate regression testing, collect coverage metrics and report progress to the program.
