ASIC Design Engineering Manager
About The Position
ASIC Design Manager Must be a US Citizen Richardson, Texas (onsite / hybrid) Full-time + Bonus/Profit-Sharing + Benefits Responsibilities : Ability to be hands-on and flexible across multiple functional roles from leading the design, layout or verification team and phases from proposal to production supply chain management Continuously grow yourself and your team’s performance through proactive thinking on personal, design and technology training Customer satisfaction and quality of deliverables for all projects Design planning, proposal and execution of high-performance mixed-signal ICs from concept to production Develop accurate schedules and resource estimates Evaluate and deliver on performance metrics for team by communicating individual and team goals with remote and local team members effectively Lead the proactive evolution and instilling of best practices to improve business performance, engineering efficiency, and repeatable quality results across the company Manage your team’s financial and project objectives as well as proactively seeking out new business opportunities Management representation interfacing cross-functionally and with key customers Recruit, train and manage and growing world-class design engineering team to deliver results with integrity, commitment, and excellence for a wide variety of ASIC and SOC applications Represent company in negotiations with suppliers, IP vendors and foundries Support quality management continuous improvement activities at the business and team level
Requirements
- BSEE/MSEE, or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies and design applications preferred
- Must have thorough understanding of best practices for silicon development tools and processes
- Proven record of technical project leadership success developing integrated circuits
- Role requires candidate to be approved under ITAR compliance requirements
- Strong communication, debugging and analytical skills with complex technical concepts
