About The Position

The Asian Marketing Executive II manages high value / VIP Asian player portfolio; drives growth and ADW lift. This position is a revenue-focused role responsible for the strategic development, growth, and protection of Asian table games and slot business. This position operates beyond traditional hosting functions and is accountable for driving high value play through relationship management, cultural engagement, and close coordination with operational leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • Previous experience as a casino host in a complex casino environment, or four (4) years’ experience in a high-volume hospitality environment, involving extensive contact with customers.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • Must be Bilingual (English and one of the following: Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and complimentary computer skills to support the ability to learn and become proficient with proprietary Casino Marketing Systems.
  • Must be able to work various shifts, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes superior guest service.
  • Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
  • Build relationships through specialized, personalized, and preferential service.
  • Use available technology to efficiently manage player accounts including, but not limited to, gaming activity, comp availability and profitably.
  • Strategically, issue complimentary items to drive longer stays and increased visit frequency while maintaining profitability and following the established departmental policies and marketing guidelines.
  • Cultivate leads, build loyalty, and promote return visits to the property.
  • Generate incremental trips by increasing length of stay and maximizing Average Daily Worth (ADW) with high value / VIP Asian player portfolio.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow Asian table games segments, with emphasis on baccarat and other Asian-preferred games.
  • Coordinate and host premium events, tournaments, cultural activations, and targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure profitability through disciplined reinvestment utilizing the current comp level of the Asian Marketing Executive II position.
  • Meet and greet with preferred guests in their own areas and when they are on property.
  • Support all ilani marketing efforts.
  • Expected to meet and/or exceed personal revenue targets.
  • Responsible for the expansion and growth of Asian casino business by providing the highest level of outstanding customer service and building relationships.
  • Keep abreast of competitors’ gaming customer programs and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Speak with players in person or on the phone to market promotions and events.
  • Plan and execute events in guests’ markets to build awareness of ilani.
  • Attend player events, interact with invited players, and provide guest service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Capture new guests in high-value market areas around ilani and in the outer markets in efforts to attract new and inactive mid to high end players.
  • Meet goals and objectives for daily phone calls and letters mailed to current, inactive, and prospective high-end players.
  • Capture new guests in high-value market areas around ilani in efforts to grow the business.
  • Assists in planning and executing both on and off-site VIP events, parties, and meals.
  • May also assist VIP Hosts and with various promotions or giveaways.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
