About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) program is a critical Navy initiative. This missile will be deployed on select Virginia-class submarines when fielded, requiring comprehensive ashore operations planning to meet the Navy’s logistical and operational needs. As the Ashore Operations (AO) Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), you will oversee and manage all aspects of the SLCM-N missile development program related to the U.S. Navy’s onshore operational requirements. This includes developing approaches for storage and maintenance of the missile at Strategic Weapons Facilities (SWFs) and ensuring that the missile and launch canister design meet SWF requirements. In this critical leadership role, you will work closely with the Navy customer to represent and fulfill all onshore operational objectives. The SLCM-N effort will integrate a new weapon into a complex ashore operation at the SWFs, which will create friction between operators, test authorities, safety organizations, and facility leadership. Managing and leading Raytheon SLCM-N efforts within this complex stakeholder environment is a key aspect of this role. Candidates with prior U.S. Navy experience, especially with SWF operations, are highly encouraged to apply.
