About The Position

Groundworks, North America's leading foundation repair and water management specialist and a Top Workplace, is seeking an Ascending Service Manager for JES, a Groundworks Company, in Virginia Beach, VA. The Assistant/Ascending Service Manager will support the Service Manager in developing sales strategies, handling customer complaints, and managing Service Technicians. The position requires excellent customer service and provides hands-on training and advancement opportunities to help employees lay the foundation for their success.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of terminology, methods and best practices used in the foundation repair
• Proven experience in Service and/or customer service
• Successfully proven KPIs as a Certified Field Inspector or Service Technician
• Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead effective weekly trainings
• Evaluate field performance and deliver feedback in a 1:1 setting
• Create and implement effective development and disciplinary plans
• Learn all aspects of the Service Managers Day to day responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned.
