About The Position

The ASC Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical setting by implementing efficient processes, supporting clinical initiatives, and overseeing Surgical Technician development. You will play a key role in coordinating patient care, infection control, inventory management, team training and development, and equipment maintenance. Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred and will be verified prior to employment.
  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of clinical/healthcare experience, with at least three (3) years of Urology experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) years of leadership experience preferred.
  • CST certification required and will be verified prior to employment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Proficient computer software and database skills.
  • Outstanding judgment, communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and typing skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, problem-solving, and team attitude.
  • Able to sit, stand, and or walk throughout the day.
  • Intermittently required to stoop, bend, speak, and listen.
  • Must possess the ability to maneuver patients when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one (1) years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred and will be verified prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain competency checklists and ensure that CSTs are properly trained based on the appropriate experience level.
  • Provide retraining in identified areas as needed.
  • Support clinical initiatives and assist with implementation in the specified region.
  • Train and retain new and existing CSTs on clinical and administrative responsibilities.
  • Adheres to best practices and follows sterilization and disinfecting policies and procedures throughout the facility.
  • Precept new hires.
  • Ensure supplies and materials are ordered while maintaining adequate stock on the shelves.
  • Assist and train team members on Sterile Processing duties, as needed.
  • Maintain competency in Sterile Processing to lend support, as needed.
