AS9100 Quality & Compliance Engineer
About The Position
TekPro partners with premier manufacturers across Chicagoland. We’re hiring an AS9100 Quality & Compliance Engineer to elevate quality systems and audit readiness at a well-established aerospace components facility. Role impact Establish and refine quality management system practices aligned to aerospace standards Own CAPA from detection through verification of effectiveness Support and host customer and regulatory audits; ensure end-to-end compliance Analyze defects, yields, and leading indicators to inform improvement roadmaps Collaborate closely with design, production, and supply chain to maintain conformance Develop inspection strategies, author documentation, and validate processes
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 3+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience
- Hands-on use of root cause tools and continuous improvement methodologies
- Fluency with inspection techniques, documentation control, and KPI tracking
Nice To Haves
- Experience in aerospace components or other tightly regulated environments (preferred)
