You should apply for the Artist Digital Marketing internship if… The UnitedMasters Artist Marketing & Digital Marketing Internship provides hands-on experience in building and executing modern artist campaigns. Interns will learn the core functions of a Project Manager within the Artist Marketing team, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and supporting release strategies from planning through execution. In parallel, interns will work closely with the Digital Marketing team to understand how audience insights, platform strategy, paid media, and analytics drive campaign performance and artist growth. This role offers a comprehensive view of how strategic marketing and digital execution come together to build sustainable careers in today’s music industry. Come Up Internship As an intern at UMT, you are an integrated member of the team. You’ll spend 10 weeks (June 2 – August 7) gaining the kind of "hands-on" experience that actually moves the needle. Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior or recent college graduate
  • This internship is based out of our Brooklyn, NY office, required to be in-person Tuesday through Thursday
  • Must to be able to attend the internship from June 2nd through August 7th

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Artist Marketing team by supporting on managing campaign timelines, organizing deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams, and assisting in the execution of release strategies across multiple artist projects learning what the key responsibilities of a Project Manager are.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to analyze audience data across socials, DSPs, and fan pages to translate insights into platform-specific strategies and support by driving discovery, engagement, and fan community growth.
  • Support paid media initiatives through audience targeting suggestions, creative testing, and performance optimization to ensure campaigns effectively scale reach, drive streams/pre-saves, and align with overall artist positioning and storytelling.
  • Track and report on content and campaign performance, delivering actionable insights and real-time optimizations that strengthen digital rollouts and contribute to measurable artist development impact.
  • Participate in campaign planning meetings, contribute to creative ideation sessions, and assist in preparing internal documents such as strategy decks, recaps, and rollout calendars.
  • Work closely on key artist projects throughout the duration of the internship, gaining end-to-end visibility into campaigns from initial planning and strategy development through launch, optimization, and post-release analysis.
