About The Position

AbleLight’s Artisan is a creative artist who creates and designs high-quality, handmade products using traditional techniques,specialized tools, and design. This role blends artistic vision with technical expertise to produce unique, functional, or decorative items and inspires the team creatively. Essential Duties: total equals 100% -- less than 10% not documented · Design and create handcrafted products using materials such as wood, metal, clay, textiles, leather, or glass · Refine designs, and maintain consistent quality across finished pieces · Operate and maintain specialized tools, equipment, and workspaces · Source, prepare, and manage materials efficiently · Customize products based on client requests or project specifications · Inspect finished items for durability, craftsmanship, and aesthetic quality · Collaborate with clients, vendors, or team members on custom orders · Package, display, and present products for retail, exhibitions, on-line, craft shows or farmers markets. · Stay updated on craft trends and new techniques.
