AbleLight’s Artisan is a creative artist who creates and designs high-quality, handmade products using traditional techniques,specialized tools, and design. This role blends artistic vision with technical expertise to produce unique, functional, or decorative items and inspires the team creatively.

Requirements

• Proficiency in various crafting techniques and tools
• Ability to engage and communicate with clients to understand needs and preferences
• Communicate and collaborate with other artisans and team members to complete projects, share skills and techniques, and create a creative, positive team environment.
• Experience in various crafting techniques and tools
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design and create handcrafted products using materials such as wood, metal, clay, textiles, leather, or glass
• Refine designs, and maintain consistent quality across finished pieces
• Operate and maintain specialized tools, equipment, and workspaces
• Source, prepare, and manage materials efficiently
• Customize products based on client requests or project specifications
• Inspect finished items for durability, craftsmanship, and aesthetic quality
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, or team members on custom orders
• Package, display, and present products for retail, exhibitions, on-line, craft shows or farmers markets.
• Stay updated on craft trends and new techniques.
