Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (Must be tested and obtained from in-person course)
Use office equipment and materials properly and in a safe manner.
Perform basic math skills and functions.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Read a variety of manuals and documents.
Writes in a coherent and professional manner.
Present information to others.
Knowledge of office management procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

Arizona Teaching Certificate, or Reciprocal Out-Of-State Certificate.
1 year of art teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Develop students' interest and ability in creative expression using a variety of artistic techniques and media.
Design and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with school guidelines and student needs.
Create and implement lesson plans, assign tasks, and evaluate student progress.
Foster an appreciation and understanding of the visual arts.
Maintain a safe, effective, and ethical classroom environment.
Supervise students and ensure their safety at all times.
Use professional judgment in managing classroom behavior and dynamics.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Maintain professionalism and ethical standards at all times.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
