Position Summary The Art Teacher brings passion, creativity, and heart to the Day Club experience. Using their unique artistic talents—whether in acrylic painting, watercolor, oil pastels, mixed media, plaster, woodworking, boutique crafting, upcycling, or textiles—the Teaching Artist designs and facilitates interactive, hands-on workshops that inspire self-expression and connection. By introducing members to new artistic techniques and trends, the Teaching Artist helps participants tap into their imagination, develop interpersonal skills, reduce depression, and build confidence and self-esteem. Each session is an opportunity to create, laugh, and belong—transforming the art studio into a space where creativity and community flourish.
