About The Position
2026-2027 School Year Anticipated Vacancy Teacher of Art Location: Start Date: September 1, 2026 Newell Elementary 27 High Street Allentown, NJ 08501 Certification Required: NJ Certification Art #1200 Reports to: Newell Elementary Principal Full-time, Tenure Track Position Experience preferred with elementary level students The successful candidate will inspire students to explore creativity, develop artistic skills, and build an appreciation for the visual arts in a supportive and engaging learning environment. Strong classroom management and instructional skills. Plans and implements classes and programs to meet curriculum. Performance of this position will be conducted by the administration in accordance with the NJ Administrative Code. Salary - Salary for this position shall be in accordance with the current agreed upon collective bargaining agreement.
