Help young artists create, explore, and experience true WOW moments. We’re looking for passionate, creative art teachers to lead our popular K–5 classes and bring big ideas to young imaginations. Requirements

  • An experienced art educator (1+ year teaching experience) with a broad technical foundation
  • Comfortable teaching multiple mediums and encouraging creative exploration
  • Fun, engaging, and student-centered in your teaching style
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working with kids, families, and fellow teachers
  • Aligned with One River’s mission to transform art education
  • Live within an easy commuting distance of the school
  • BFA or BS in Art Education required

Nice To Haves

  • MFA or Master’s in Art Education a big plus

Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging weekly art classes that inspire curiosity, confidence, and creativity
  • Work across a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, mixed media, and 3D projects
  • Create joyful, memorable experiences that make students excited to come back to the studio
  • Build strong connections with students and families through thoughtful communication and care
