About The Position

The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a 100% FTE 9/12 Art lecturer to teach Photography and related courses in the academic year 2026-2027. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent
• Evidence of successful teaching of introductory Photography and related courses at the post-secondary level

Responsibilities

• Facilitation of in-class learning activities
• Assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable)
• Offering of weekly office hours
• Submission of grades
• Resolution of any ongoing student or course issues
• Develop and deliver in-person courses
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content
