About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading fine art logistics company to identify dependable and detail-oriented Art Handlers / Movers. This organization specializes in the transportation, handling, and installation of high-value personal effects, fine art, and antiques.
This role is ideal for individuals with moving, warehousing, or logistics experience who take pride in hands-on work and attention to detail. You will work closely with drivers and team members to ensure valuable items are handled safely, documented accurately, and delivered with care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, or art handling preferred
• Basic understanding of inventory processes and handling techniques
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to complete detailed paperwork and condition reporting accurately
• Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Experience using equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to push/pull up to 120 lbs using appropriate equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday
• Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company as an ambassador
• May occasionally start or end shifts at off-site locations
• Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with collections and deliveries of fine art, antiques, and personal effects (local and interstate)
• Safely pack, handle, and transport fragile and high-value items
• Support loading and unloading of trucks using proper equipment and techniques
• Assist with installation projects as needed
• Complete condition reports and job-related paperwork accurately
• Verify daily job details using trip manifests and communicate any changes to management
• Work with drivers to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and properly prepared
• Support warehouse operations, including inventory management and scanning items
• Maintain a high level of care and attention to detail on every job
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols
